sky phone line??

looking at getting sky installed but currently with vm,do i need to go through bt for my phone line or can i stay with vm??

you dont need a bt line to be with sky anymore

i have sky m8 and phone is still with vermin

likewise here, same setup. I thought it might be a problem but when i chatted to someone from sky, it completely fine to have a vermin phone line.
As long as you can make out going calls, doesn't matter who your with now

Prem the chances are if its not multiroom the installers will not even connect anything to your phone line. Had my installed for start of the world cup and never even mentioned anything about a phone line.

thanx deano it'll only be the 1 box anyway so thats good, hoping to get a couple of other boxes for other rooms

We have no land line in our house..we all use mobiles, and we also have sky tv.....although we have NO premium channels..just the basics

if it isnt connected to the phone line u will not be able to record and some other features wont be avalible
