anyone got a guide / pointers for installing tomtom to this device or any other sat nav s/w that it can support ?

    anyone got a guide / pointers for installing tomtom to this device or any other sat nav s/w that it can support ?

    you need to add a txt file called shell.ini in the resident flash folder and in that file it should say SDMMC\MobileNavigator\MobileNavigator.exe then you put tom tom on a sd card make sure the folder is called MobileNavigator and then change the tomtom.exe file to Mobile Navigator.exe and it will work but you will need to patch the map or you can put any software on as long as you rename the files to match the tom tom settings.

    Just bought a Binatone D430 and the maps are already pre-installed on the device and there is NO SD card!

    Am I correct to assume that by buying a standard 2-4GB SDHC MEMORY CARD and then somehow getting on it tomtom software the binatone will support tomtom too?

    Just to jump on a post. I have a Binatone B430 trying to get USA maps installed without any joy - dont suppose someone can point me in the right direction please? Ive got the UK maps installed but I know my way around here
