High winds have blown the dish slightly out of position. Using positioner & moving a fraction I can align the dish & get good signal back. I then save it.
When I move to another channel on the same satellite (ie pointing to Turksat channel TRT1 then moving to NTV also on Turksat), the motor repositions the dish back to the previous setting and I have to start over again.
Anybody had this problem? I just cannot get it to save the new position. I have uploaded latest firm etc. but still no joy.

firstly try sending your motor back to zero then do a factory reset, now if using 1.2 send the dish to the furthest sat on your arc.. E.G. 45east scan in then save and repeat the process for each orbital slot around the arc untill 45west. i know this is time consuming but if you edit all the txp,s for dvbs/mpeg2 receivable with your sized dish from your location you will remove all the dead txps and only have what you can pick up stored in memory. you can of course just upload a pre-made list from someone else. ideally your dish needs realigning using usals and a fresh install can be done. regards mdt

Totally agree mdt - of course the only problem with this mega operation of killing all the deadwood, can be that on some of the weaker satellites such as 7W, 26E, etc, you find reception can vary dramatically through the 24hrs!
