Please forgive me if this has already been covered elsewhere, but I have been given a list of cs Cccam lines to try out but am not sure how to first enter them on my pc in some sort of 'editor' prog, then transfer them from my pc on to my TM5402HD M2 box via USB memory stick, to save entering every line via 8281 and risk messing them up by entering incorrectly using my remote!

Please advise in detail therefore the easiest way for me to achieve this, i.e. also which part goes into which box:-

ID
PSW
Port
Address

I already have two lines working successfully via a pay server I use, previously entered by myself correctly, but for some reason I cannot 'display' them within 8281 on my TM5402HD M2 patch 109P as I used to do on my patched TM6900HD Super - to see EXACTLY how I'd entered them!

Any advice would be gratefully received on this matter - thanks!! :THANKS:

Load the addon once patched,
Then load the csinfo file

On the csinfo file it will be like this

name: Connection_0
ip: example.dyndns'example.com
user:example1
password:example2
protocol: cccam
deskey: 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
filtermode: auto
filterindex: 0
port: 123456
timeout: 3
Admin: 1

You add the address on the ip line
user name on user line
pass on password line
c or n line on protocol line ie c line is cccam
port number on port line

Then just Menu-USB-Data Transfer-Select the cs info file you have made- Press ok- Then file will load.

Make sure to not overwrite your original lines, if you have say 2 lines already entered make sure you put new lines lower down the list ie Connection_3 or 4 etc

Hi Holmroad, fill in the attached TXT file with your new line details and as manic01 says dont forget to put your existing line details in, then just upload via usb

Thanks guys, I will attempt the text version tomorrow, but will have to be careful not to corrupt/lose existing two lines as pointed out by manic01, but they are both on lines 0 and 1 so will probably start at line 3 'just in case'!!

Thanks for the text file to fill in mjon - only thing it that with this one I already have slots 0 and 1 and as manic01 says I dont want to overwrite the existing ones - so I would surely have to RE complete those two again with my existing Clines first, then start the new lines at slot 2 or maybe 3?
All I'm worried about is if I mess up 0 & 1 and end up with nothing working!!
In any case surely the new lines I'm trying should really work after manual entry anyway?

I may try 'messing about' with my manual entries first - interchanging user, ids, etc to try to get them to work - I've always managed this ok in the past ok so it MUST be the way these new lines have been presented to me which is the problem!!

Try this way m8 it works on TM5402 (not sure on M2version).....

load 8281
upload CSinfo to USB
transfer USB to PC
open CSinfo file (with todays date - should be obvious)
Lines 0 and 1 should show the pay servers you already have then just add the new CCcam server details in line 2 onwards.
Save to USB then download to reciever via Data Transfer screen.

:)

Yes thanks mate, that all looks fine and deffo same on my M2, but I think my prob is to interpret exactly 'what' goes 'where' from lines given in 'their' format and not too clear how to transpose that into the 8281 layout, e.g. 'ID', 'Address', 'Password' etc!
I may be thick but sometimes struggle to put the correct info as intended by the provider as every box can be slightly different in interpretation!
Hope this makes sense?

yep, As Manic says above ...

You add the address on the ip line
user name on user line
pass on password line
c or n line on protocol line ie c line is cccam
port number on port line

Example

If this was the cline (they are normally in the same format)....

C: cccam.holmroad.com 3598 06CE0485_C28FFC18 www.holmroad.com

Then it would look like this ...

name: Connection_2 (you have _0 and _1 in use already)
ip: cccam.holmroad.com
user:06CE0485_C28FFC18
password:www.holmroad.com
protocol: cccam
deskey: 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
filtermode: auto
filterindex: 0
port: 3598
timeout: 3
Admin: 1

:)

Thanks mate, unfortunately according to what YOU suggest above my password would have to be 17 charas long from the cline they give me, yet only 14 are actually allowed!

e.g. C: abcdnet.zapto.org 12345 5abcdnet5 5abcdnet.com no

Actually this is EXACTLY the way I've already got it and still not opening line, so maybe their FREE server MUST be full up with other punters off that site!

as you are probably already aware by now by your statement above you have a limited number of characters avaialble via manual entry but unlimited if you upload a completed CSinfo file

Thanks mate, but I still believe that I have my entries made correctly anyway and thus the servers must be clogged up!
That is unless someone tells me I am incorrect from the line above which I posted as an example, so please again tell me where they should all go from THAT line!

Thanks again!
