Please write your problems/demands/improvements,

I have to collect all your comments / problems for all 31 models of HD and SD try to fix all in one go
Dead line for all comments is wednds.22.-02-12 11pm,

As stated in your post...I have a wish/demand, which I can easily admit will not be the first demand of many members...
I also do not have high hope on this, I need to be realistic but I take on your offer and ask...

Do you think it would be possible to make the card reader compatible with the latest secure mode ACS3, in order to read official cards (such as bistv) swapping their encryption to viaccess secure mode acs3.1 eg:luckyjack (hotbird 12692H27500)?

VERY happy with the add-on feature...very stable!

Is it possible to change on the tm7100 triple that the second sat tuner is the main recording tuner so if your watching something live (on tuner 1)and you have something set to record your live tv won't be interupted by the set recording (channel switch to recording channel)
On the 7100 cane we have added the emulater for canaal digitaal nl
Also on the 6902 can youtube be fixed and canaal digitaal nl be added
On the 6900 non super is it possible to change firmware that you can watch DTT while recording SAT TV(like on the 6902+6900 super)
will the filter menu in the 8281 menu ever be usable if yes how do we use it ?

Hi Phanton, thanks so much for your latest response above, at least it now appears we may finally be getting somewhere, so please follow what my friend thijss26 has stated in his post above as he has stated most of the things we have all been getting so frustrated about this past 15 months or so!
My only additional query is that of the older Cccam version we have on the Technomates with current patches as I understand there may be a later version we may need absorbing into whatever patch update(s) you can do?
I truly appreciate your current interest and sincerely apologise if my earlier comments upset you, they honestly werent meant to - as obviously we dont wish yo upset 'the hand which feeds us' - namrly YOU my friend!

Sorry but there is one more on going problem with my TM6900HD Super, that of the Blind Scan, where it seems to drop the S/R, e.g. 27500 blind scans in as 27497! :drink:

Hi Phantom,

CAID filter menus on the TM-5402 appear to be non-functional, doesnt matter what you set, nothing seems to change.
Perhaps this is for newcamd only? I only use cccam

We need the box to use one specific c-line from a choice of 2 for a given CAID.

TM-5300D+ USB SUPER (MARK 1)

Using latest patch 1.55 the audio is out of sync. Factory reset, deleted channels and fresh scan done. Reverted to 1.49 without deleting channels and audio now in sync. Basically same issue as latest patch for 5200 non super.

Additionally, the unpatched software has not been uploaded to the TM site after the server issues in November.
 
1 . tm5402HD network problem : When using a fixed IP, first power up, only 1 cccam line or newcamd line is active.
Also the nice internet utilities like weather - radio - youtube - you porn will not work
When changing the ip 1 number - SAVE - re-entering good fixed ip - SAVE. All CCcam lines and newcamd lines work.
Also all nice internet utilities will work as well

2. tm5402HD and 6000 and 7000 series. PID transponderscan BUG
when trying to scan 1 particular channel by using PID scan it will scann that given channel but will ERASE all other channels on that given frequency.
So the only thing you can do is, using PID scan, scan the whole frequency without inserting any PID info...
This is very annoying

3. tm5402HD, audio problem. sometimes loud - sometimes very silent....
When zapping between channels (could be any channel but mostly it is mpeg4 related) the sound is just way to silent. then We put the volume very high with tv remote and TM remote. When you zap back to that same channel I had problems with the sound suddenly gets very loud. so it must be something with the TM audio mixer ?

Could you solve these BUGs ?

could you implement the same 7day epg loader(astra 28.2east) software as on the may 24th 2011 patches for all the models that have this function
where the tm loads the epg name program only but once you change channel it will refresh now and next again and keep the 7day info
so we don't have to reboot everytime after 7-day epg upload to get full info on now and next again.
6000+7000+5402 super series
Also is it possible that we can set the audio level in the settings menu to high as default because after a factory reset these are set to medium
and you have to go to every channel to set them to high level again individualy and medium is to a to low level.

Blind scan:
1/ Is out of calibration & misses lots of active frequencies for example on 12.5 west with a blank data base the blind scan does not find 12515 H DVB-S/MPEG-2 17455 3/4 this is a very strong transponder here,

The receiver finds lower symbol rate SCPC with more accuracy than the higher symbol rates MCPC transponders,

Some higher symbol rate transponders found & stored in the blind scan mode are 15Hz out of calibration & show no signal this may be due to the speed of the scan being too fast,

Corrective action to slow the scan down the blind scan & improved Ku band frequency selection so that I can select the known productive parts of the ku band with result in a faster & more efficient blind scan performance current software does not permit this,

2/Unable to select certain productive parts of the Ku band in the blind scan mode these needs to be variable so that 10.7 to 11.2, 11.45 to 11.7,& 12.5 to 12.75GHz bands can be selected without the current "invalid frequency" message,
It is essential to be able to scan separate Ku bands 12.5 to 12.75 on 10 east for example the current configuration 11.7 to 12.75 includes Eurobird 9A @ 9 east 11.7 to 12.50 making it impossible to scan the parts of the band designated to each satellite.

3/Sorting of found frequencies is not in chronological order like the TM5402HD & TM6900HD sat receivers,
The new transponders found are just added onto the end of the list & with no suitable channel editor to correct this at the moment this internal sort facility is essential for transponders & frequencies found by the TM5302HD,

I believe that when these problems are corrected this satellite receiver has the potential of being one of the best blind scan receivers to own,

There are a couple more problems to highlight... the quotes below were also taken from the Download Centre's 'Feedback Section'... and I thought they should also be added here...

is any one getting this with new patch every time i switch channel it gos on no signal for few secs then clears i was use 110p patch that patch don't have signal problems b 117p does. let me no if any one is having same trouble

I nearly forgot to mention this... I have also encountered this problem myself on the last couple of TM 5402 HD patches... this dip (and even complete loss) of signal when changing channels can be very annoying... and it is not limited to switching channels on the weaker signal TP's... it can even happen switching between channels on strong/very strong signal TP's

Receiver still finding 45,000 Symbol rates with blind scan mode when a 4 figure symbol rate is in use ie 4285 or 3690 etc.

Similarly... this is another problem that I have encountered myself when 'Blind Scanning' satellites with my TM 5402 HD... but I have only noticed this 'glitch' since the last 1.17p patch...

I have a 6900 super+: I too do not enjoy having to alternate between 737p and 742p for C+NL and TNT respectively, I addition many of the channels n TNT freeze for 3 sec every 10 seconds.

I do not generally utilize ccam or newcamd or any of the other online things and therefore cannot comment on them.

One other thing that has tended to be lacking over the last few patches has been a description of the patch's capabilities. I would welcome a list of official cards that the patch will read and will UPDATE in the receiver's card slot.

I must say - that I appreciate your efforts greatly, and look forward to the new patch cming out in due course.
