some people might like to use this i tried it and it actualy works with the satdeamon setup
first you will have to setup your sat deamon on your computer
after this you have to click on sat deamon icon and browse to the folder that you have your tm files in click on ok twice
now you will have to find out what your p.c. ip adress is ,on my pc i click on the start icon leftbottom of my screen
and this bring up the computers search engine just above it, there i enter "cmd" and the cmd icon apears i click on this and it opens comand prompt program here i enter after c:\users\owner> "ipconfig" and this will bring up a srcreen where you can find your ip adress wich will look like "ipv? adress . . . .: xx.xx.xxx.xxx (x being any number)
now turn on your tm and goto main menu>system settings>ip settings>press blue button enter your ip adress and press ok
now the file or folder you set the deamon on will be there just scroll to the file you want to load to your tm and press ok
i tried it for patches and softcams and it's working perfect so no need for usb devices to update your tm
it might sound hard to some tm users but once you have done it a few times it's quit easy
just to add if your ipadress is something like for example 23.11.566.999 you enter it into your tm like 023.011.566.999
i tested this on my tm6902 and tm7100 so i asume it works with all the tm's with lanport.
if you need any help doing this just ask.

tried any kind of file supported by the tm's and with the file manager menu you can move file from tm to pc and back
all you have to do is create (blue button) a disk with your pc ip adress this changes every so often so before you start each time you will have to change ip adress in your tm and set the deamon on the file you want to move,i have most files for tm on my desktop so i set my sat daemon on desktop and can enter all my files on the tm, moving .avi files (only on 02 series) or bigger files is a bit slow but it works perfect.
it's worth giving it a go.

tm 6900 super connected and working fine!
also tm 5402 connected with access point from the other side of home and working finee too
is easy try it
very good work thijss26

Hey thijss, I really like this and it works on my 6900 super .. up to the point where the 6900 "sees" the directory on the PC.

Then I select the file, press OK - and it goes back to the IP Settings menu and doesn't seem to do anything else.

Am I missing something? PC is Windows 7, by the way.

Thanks, m.

wich files were you trying to move or were you trying to update if your in the ip settings menu it's for tm fileupdates only if you select any other type of file there it will go back to ip settings

just tried it again it does not go back to ip settings on any file for me the only thing i can think of is when the ip adress changes you loose connection or if you don't click ok twice on the sat deamon it's not completly connected. check the ip adress again and make sure the satdeamon is set right, i just moved a 12Gb folder with my tm from pc to a hard drive for .avi files i use on the blurayplayer it took a good while i have to say a bit longer then i had planned but it was easier then trying to get it upstairs to pc with all the cables around my tv and b.r.player.

i don't know if this is something new for the latest patches but i would be using them and i'm using windows vista
if someone had it working with windows7 please let us know and with wich patch

Hi again thijss.

You put your finger on it - it's only works with the latest firmware (742p for the 6900). I was trying to get from 741p to 742p before.

Also to confirm on the 6900 it's only .stb .key .ndf and .cndf files. Good though, saves digging out the USB stick.

Thanks for your help.

you can also update your c.s.files in the firmware update just tried this

hello,

I am trying to see the drive on my Technomate 7102
I created a folder in user\technomate

I ran the Satdeamon above and linked it to the folder above.

nothing is happening, cant get anything to work?

am i missing a step?

thanks

connect the lan cable to your router, press the menu button on the remont, go to the entertainment menu (i think its entertainment, the same one with youtube and weather bit in) and highlight TM-Online and press ok, itll say 'update channel list' press OK, no go to software, PH, and the 7102 file, press ok, and itll download and flash for you

My receiver stucks on startup and has the exact same problem as mentioned in this link.
The Box . Stuck on "ON" wont startup. ??

It seems like I have to do some kind of upgrade via a cable. I dont have this cable. Do you think I might succeed through lan. Maybe just reinstall phantompatch.
