Hello Guys

I have a Tecnomate 800HD and I use a downloaded editor to add and edit C: lines, but when I try to add N: lines, they get rejected, with an error message of "Invalid line" Is their a CCcam editor I can use to also Input N: lines? Or is there a way I can add the line to the CCcam line editor I'm using Not FTP just been trying that, nearly messed up my Registry.

Thanks

Just discovered I have a ccam 221 installed, but no Newcamd

How would I go about having this installed?

Just ftp into the CCcam.cfg file and add the Nline,
CCcam accepts Clines and Nlines

Is their an FTP app i can use to do this with?

Is their an FTP app i can use to do this with?

If you mean a pc program then filezilla is free and works perfectly,
If you meant an Android app then ES Explorer also does ftp and works perfectly as well :)

I'm trying to use use filezilla to transfer the lines of code to the Technomate800HD.

As I have the lines of code in a Notepad file.

Should I give the file a special name? and then Transfer to /var/etc folder?

or do I somehow Transfer each line of code seperatly?

How do I go about doing this please

You create a cccam.cfg file this is achieved by opening notepad posting your lines in and saving it as cccam, then you need to change the file extension from .txt to .cfg sorted :)

created a CCcam.cfg file placed it into the /var/etc folder - but so far nothing happening, because one of the c:lines is an N:line, do I not need to install a Newcamd? or should i make the filename cccam.cfg

WTF and why isn't this in the TM800HD section....

1. You download the EXISTING cccam.cfg file from the TM800. (although you've probably lost that now)
2. You add your C and N Lines to it and confirm the config is how you want it (passwords, ports etc)
3. You upload the edited cccam.cfg back to the TM800HD.
4. Done

If you make a new file and only put one N Line in it, CCcam won't have any of its options..
(ok, it will default to everything, but that's not really safe or suitable)

Go to the plugin manager and download CCcam.cfg. This should create a new FULL version on your TM800 and then follow the steps above. (Not CccamInfo, that is a CCcam monitor plugin)

Once you've done that, you can review CCcam by opening the following address in your PC browser http://ip_of_tm800:16001
(The PC must be on the same LAN for this. I won't bore you by telling you how to setup a port forward [on your router] to make that page available from outside your LAN)

Use any decent FTP application, preferably one where you can right click the remote file and select edit. This will open the file for immediate edit and upon closure will ask to send it back to the remote machine, in your case the TM800.

With regards to your N Line. Ensure it doesn't use the extended newcamd protocol. If it does, you can't use it with CCcam

lol. After reading all that confusion above, I really did lose the will etc etc...

(although it should be moved to the correct section ;))
