    PS3 NAND/NOR Downgrading

    Hi,

I've got a slim 120gb model running latest firmware...obviously I need hardware flasher to downgrade and I don't really want to buy it just to do one console...

Does anybody provide a downgrade service on this forum or have e3/teensy/progskeet I could borrow????

Not to worry I've bought the E3 Flasher Limited kit so I'll be able to do it myself

I posted a link in another thread which says you do not need an E3 flasher. Would it possible for you to confirm?

It's fake...trust me you need a hardware downgrader to downgrade from the newer firmwares....

    Re: PS3 NAND/NOR Downgrading

I'm confused now as there's people saying that they have downgraded and patched etc. ? This is for the latest machines?

I thought (reading the other threads that all can be downgraded, it does say Phat owners wait though)

Certain older firmwares can be downgraded with just a dongle, custom firmwares can be downgraded via the xmb, new firmwares need a hardware downgrader... And certain models such as 3000 series slims cannot be downgraded at all at the moment

It's still on its way to me. I've read a few stories about fakes or cheap clips but I just thought it's gotta be worth a try...

I bought the e3 flasher limited from alibaba express, paid on my credit card so I'm protected if it's faulty or fake. It's the solder less kit and hopefully they will release a nand clip soon...
