Here you go guys, not my proggy so thanks to original developer. This little thing is hard to come by.

This will unlock your Dell computer whether it is BIOS or HDD master password.

You need to enter the full Asset number including the "-" for the BIOS and the first ** for the HDD password.

Even works with the dreaded 595B models.

I have new DELL XPS L502x from ebay.

But BIOS is protected. Please any advise or help to unlock.

MY SERVICE TAG IS "HDBY1S1"
EXPRESS SERVICE TAG IS "37811424385"

PASSWORD HINT IS "FE79BA60"

I try this:

But any password help.

I have a AVERATEC 8100 Series Notebook bought it fairly used with locked bios and system, Pheonix Bios i tried every method but failed to unlock it.
PLEASE HELP.

HI I managed to get into the bios using the util but the hdd is locked as well exactly how do you input the code into the generator the code is #XE606413866-595B.

Any help would be great

Dear friend smoggie thank you very much for your assistance ! The first password is ok, i know this because i tried also the other 2 and when i insert them the machine responds with a pop-up message which states that "password is incorrect-continue anyway?". When i insert the first code the machine does not reply. No answer means everything ok, i assume.

However, when i enter the bios i notice that next to "Fixed HDD" it says "None" !?
I tried to Restore to Factory Settings. The machine tries to boot, but it stops and it displays something like:

"....................................................
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cablePXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM.
Operating system not found."

I also noticed that the F?? buttons do not function. A bleep sound comes when i press any of these buttons with no response on screen.

Is there any workaround, any suggestions ? Do i have to change HDD and if so how am i supposed to install the operating system ? The machine is not under warranty !

There is a youtube video (watch?v=qAHcW3Wp3dw) which shows same problem. Is says it solved. Man that solved says:

"hoho, finally found out, it missed a screw between hard disk and the other paths. Check the hard disk first. May be a MBR error too"

I don't seem to get what this man says though

I don't know what your problem is with HDD but I suggest you start a new thread in the PC problem forum (not the Dell password thread) as I;m sure there will be someone who can sort you out
