make sure you use a non standard BT port and use encryption so as top obscure the traffic they are right up the backside of the antiparcy league - only to save bandwidth no doubt llol.

The iplayer issue may be down to a non-UK IP address. Routing through a UK based proxy should sort you out for that.

i still cant find a way of getting iplayer to work, every time i search for an ip proxy it just spams me. ne ideas?

Using a VPN will also allow you to view sites which you can normally use at home on your PC when your away.

got a friend out of the country over xmas and they would like to know if there are any other ways to watch iplayer out of the country

Hi Mate, reading the problem with pirate bay,had the same prob. I know your passed that now but heres another prog that worked for me Easy-Hide-IP.
Very straight forward, another one for the future to try i suppose.
