ahhhh! External hard drive probs... :(

Hi guys, was wondering if any one cud help me! I was transferring files between two external hard drives as I needed to make one of them FAT32 to connect to xbox 360 and I think I have balls them up. Now when ever I connect the drives to compuer (via usb) they do not show up in My computer. They do show up on the device manager tho. I deleted the partition (dont ask why

) of one of the drives and after that it wudnt show either of the drives... How do I first of all create a partition (if thats what is needed??!) in the drive that I deleted the partition of and why would the other one not be showing either???!! :lovestory thanks in advance

If you dont need any of the data on the drives affected, you can use Computer Management from Administrative tools to repartition and reformat the drives.

[winkey]+[R] > compmgmt.msc > Disk management. Any info given here? e.g. Uninitialised? Unformatted?

To convert an NTFS formatted drive to FAT32 when the option is not available I use FAT32Format. As its freeware I've attached it or you can download from softpedia: Download FAT32format 1.03 - FAT32format is able to easily format large hard disks in FAT32, even in Windows XP. - Softpedia
