why do some people sell a wifi adapter with an openbox on ebay? do i need one ?

You need box connected to the internet by some means..be it a wifi adapter or via Ethernet port.

You need to be able to use internet to communicate with box for all sorts..transferring files from computer to box or downloading and installing plugins etc...

for example if you want to share your sly card with a openbox in your bedroom you need to set up box to do this and be connected to internet

is there any way that you can use a standard usb wifi micro connector rather than a skybox ready to use one? just though that you may be able to get the drivers on the openbox somehow??
