    are they any good

    Compared to the F5,F3 and X3 they are a backward step.

    Got to agree. The F3 are bullet proof. The X5 has given me endless wifi and channel scrambling issues with all software updated. The Google Maps and You Tube player are however surprisingly good.

    I would go for the F3 at the moment not a lot of support for the x5 will struggle with channel list and if it gets bricked no way to recover it.

    (p.s I know it is what you said slugworth but if OP is a noob it makes things clearer).
