the s10 should already have the latest firmware on so you just need to put the TP_prog on a usb stick then menu»tools»upgrade by usb »upgrade mode »miscfiles»select & Upgrade TP_PROG.dbs files upgrade

open note pad in windows enter your line save as CCcam.cfg (make sure it is called that) onto a usb drive insert it into the usb socket then select menu >>toolbox>>Upgrade by usb >> Upgrade mode Misc files>> select and upgrade CCcam.cfg press [yellow] when done exit exit down to globe >>CCcam client setup >>Manage config files >>CCcam>cfg select your line press ok or [green] exit exit exit [POWER] then turn your box back on it should connect to CCcam

That is the easiest way but you can also type it in directly with the remote.

You can also use the LAN tool if your so inclined as the S10 factory FW has this included by default.

You can essentially FTP (but it isn't true ftp) to the box's IP address from a local computer and update or download the channel lists, image, ccam etc.

The tool is posted on the forums under the firmware section. Pretty straight forwards to use.

Hi I just bought this SKYBOX/OPENBOX S10, which code is an original openbox.
I need to understand how to access/activate ccCam, I have read youre post #4 above
but this part "exit down to globe >>CCcam client setup >>Manage config files >>CCcam>cfg select your line press ok or [green] exit exit exit [POWER] then turn your box back on it should connect to CCcam", especially the cfg select your line press ok has me totally coRnfused, could you elaborate in a pm to me please ??

Thanx for the time taken mate,

Rob

Is it actually an EMPTY ccCam.cfg file i must put in there, if so I did that and get nothing that works except german tv stations.
I am in holland and want all the english channels but sofar it eludes me.

BTW I am watching astra 19.2 and 23.5 east satelites, have only a dual position LNB.

Rob

hi cooknl first to view uk channels you need to point your dish at 28.2E when you have done that do a scan on single satellite (1/1) K_Eurobird 1&astra 2b when you have done that you will have freesat channels to clear the encrypted channel you need a C line from a card share server
(1) this C line can then inputted into the CCcam.cfg by pressing menu>> globe>>CCcam plug setting>> manage config files>>CCcam.cfg>>[blue] Add
Protocol CCcam
Host your cline host name
port the port in your cline(379837)?
user the user name in your cline
password the password in your cline

(2) in note pad the entry should look like this C:someone.dyndns.org 379837 cooknl cooknl1
obviously these are made up and will not work you then need to put the file onto a usb stick saved as CCcam.cfg
on the stb open menu scroll down to globe select update files by usb select CCcam.cfg press the yellow button
you then need to activate the cline so menu >> globe >> manage config files>> CCcam.cfg ok button on your cline press green button or ok button exit button it will say saving data the power off and back on it will say on screen connect to CCcam the C line you entered
