I just put an n line i use into a cfg file and load it through usb, works fine.

yes easy way is via usb.just copy and paste into this file and enter upgrade vis usb.
its not 1 of the best boxes around for hd, and theres alot of work to be done on them to catch up with others, but for the cheaper end of the market it worth a stab.

when i paste my N line into my ccam file do i need to paste the password etc .. that he provided with the line - im a bit confused never used an n line before

yes you do it will look something like below

N: <hostname> <port> <username> <password> <des encrp>

like i said you enter it in mgcamd >> manage config files >>newcamd.list green button
single account
host
port

user
password
yellow button
exit
exit
restart the box

it will say start mgcamd plugin

nline's are for newcamd the box changes the input to a cws line
clines are for CCcam
when you get your box you will see when you follow my instructions exactly how easy it is to do with the remote control I have laid out in my post the way the menu is for input
if you want to use notepad to write a config file then when you have copy and pasted your nline save it as newcamd.list

menu select

network setup>>Mgcamd plug setup>>update files by usb>>(3) newcamd.list

You can copy/paste your c lines and n lines into cfg file using notepad.
No need to enter seperately.
Once loaded, just activate using remote.
You may need to reboot once to initiate it.

Hi mate step by step

first open ur ccam.cfg file and paste the n line in there and save make sure the file is saved in the .cfg format and not notepad check properties of the file.
if all is ok and it is .cfg then copy to usb make sure the usb is fat 32.
plug in the back of the box select last option usb and select ccam.cfg not newcam and read it.
then manage ccam.cfg and press green on ur nline and exit reboot
Job done
