I've been running on version 55 for a while and recently updated to version 60 Now alot if the games wont load unless I go into game options change the IOS from 249 to 222. Is there a way of going back to version 55 or is there a wad to update the 249 so it plays the games to start with....

I have v50 on file but when I try and update that v55 is no longer an option...

Thanks for any help...

It still does not work. Its telling me my IOS249 needs to be upgraded before I can start games from a Fat partition. Or try a different IOS.
I can try cios222 but the default one is ios249 so its a pain swapping. How do I go about upgrading my IOS249? Or shall I just go back to V50 and be happy that is works with 99% of games..

it a pain in the a**e.
you would think there would be an option on global settings to change default to 222...

i just had to bite the bullet and change them all manually.

didn't take that long, you don't have to start the games.
but thyen again i only have 20 odd games on the hdd at the moment.....

So once you've changed them manually they stay changed so the next time the kids play the game it will load... If so that aint to bad..... Thanks.

yep ,
once you've changed it, you press a button to save changes ( either 1 or 2 can't remember)
then press b twice and your back into game list.
i did em all one after another.
doesnt take that long.......

if i had used that ios, then would i wouldnt have had to change all those f**cking setting??

There are 2 versions of CFG USB Loader. The normal release (eg v60) which uses IOS249 by default and one that uses IOS222 be default (eg v60 222). You can specify which IOS every game uses by default in the config.txt file which is in the usb-loader folder. Add IOS = ???? or change it if it already exists (eg IOS = 223-mload) sets every game to use IOS223. (IOS = 250) sets every game to use IOS250.

so there is two versions and i pick the wrong f**king one....

ah well, its all done now....

# USBLoader config
# lines starting with # are comments
# see README-CFG.txt for help on options

# theme
theme = BlueMatrix

# gui
gui = start
gui_transition = fade
gui_style = flow
gui_rows = 2

# device
device = usb

Cheeky I know but I will only get it wrong if I do it can you insert it in the in the above text so I can copy it to my v60 please.......

thanks very much..

You can download the 222 version from here
Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

Rename the cfg60-222.dol to boot.dol and place it in the apps USBLoader folder replacing the other version. This will use IOS222 as default for every game unless you change them in the game options.

Or you can use this in your config.txt file

Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

You could have also loaded up CFG on the Wii and pressed 1 and then 1 again to get to the global options. Choose online update and then choose the v60222 version. Restart CFG and you will have the 222 version.
