It's based off v3.5, but more unnecessary IOS have been removed from v3.6, so the hackmii installer is now compatible, but you must run the cIOSCORP v3.x Uninstaller first in order to get rid of the previous versions (which had the unnecessary modified IOS), then install v3.6.

Changelog:
v3.6 - changed the base IOS for IOS09 from 53 to 60
- removed IOSes 12, 13, 14, 15, 22, 31, and 34 in order to
have hackmii installer support
- renamed uninstaller, it's universal between versions now
- replaced mios v9 with mios v4 in the uninstaller
- added trucha bug, ES_Identify patch and NAND permissions
patch to uninstaller's IOS36
- updated the FAQ, README, and compatibility list
- added GC Backup Launcher 0.2 Compatibility List
- HBC icons have been redone

Jenno, is it worth me trying this, as I'm having great difficulty modding my Wii...? (See Easy 4.2e thread.)

I'm at a loss at what else to do!

Is there an alternative app to NG7 to use instead, as it's just not having a bar of it at the mo'? I'm wondering whether, when I did the old softmad on 3.2 it altered something, and that's been left behind...? Though I thought the (official) update to 4.2e cleaned and overwrote everything? (Although, even after the 4.2 update, my old BackupLauncher remained listed on the channels???)

Any advice mate, please?

cheers jenno mate, if i have 3.5 setup with bootmi and nand backup made, whats the benefits off updating to this, as tbh i still have no real clue about it all, all these things just baffle me, lol!

Delete your old BackupLauncher and try ng7 again m8.

Is that aimed at me mate? If so, I've already done that. (Many times! Lol) I was just surprised it didn't get killed during the official 4.2 update? Which is why I'm wondering if something stray is holding on in there, if that makes sense?

i think because most people who had older versions of cioscorp had problems installing homebrew channel and bootmii when they upgraded to 4.2e this should sort that? something like that

i'll be using it in future )
