hi m8 no probs u can use the adapter if you have the drivers 4 it. i got a usb to null cable from maplins also if u go to maplins get a crossover cable and an ethernet cable aswell then you have it all

hi again m8 can u give me a step by step method of sorting my dreambox 500c sorry this is my first time just
i bought a dreambox it has software on it but when i search for channels it brings load up but when i go into them they are a black screen i have the dreamup file and the magic files and also the null modem cable but my laptop or my normal computer both dont have a com port. i have a cable to convert it from null modem to usb can i use this? if not how do i get a com port or is there some other method of sorting my dreambox out thanks for taking the time to reply

This is bb5 phone m8 and can only be unlocked via a cable you can get this done at mobile phone shops for between £10 and £20 hope this helps
