Are you blind, referee?
In recognition of Urs Meier's dire refereeing performance during the Portugal-England game, not least disallowing Sol Campbell's legitimate goal, ASDA has announced that its health cash plan team is now offering any Swiss nationals living within the UK a free eye test at any one of ASDA's 68 optical centers. All they have to do is take their passport to an ASDA optical centre before July 2nd and they will get the test free of charge.
As ASDA's director of financial services, David Rutley puts it: "Sol obviously scored. Well, it was obvious to everyone apart from the Swiss referee who clearly needs his eyes testing. To stop this happening again, we've decided to offer anyone who is Swiss a free eye test. We've also written to Urs Meier telling him if he would like to take us up on the offer, we will throw glasses in as well!"
