Britain and the US will join forces in setting up a new group to shut down violent internet sex sites.
Officials on both sides of the Atlantic will decide how to act against the depraved pornography web pages, which were implicated in the trial of the man who killed Brighton special needs teacher Jane Longhurst.

Initial steps were agreed by Home Secretary David Blunkett during a meeting with US Attorney General Jim Comey in Washington.
Mr Blunkett's official spokesman said: "The Department of Justice were very interested in what we had to say and we agreed it was a significant problem, not in terms of numbers but in terms of the evil of these sites.
He added: "We agreed that we would put our heads together to get some action on the issue."
Miss Longhurst's family met Mr Blunkett in London last week as part of their campaign to ban the sites, which feature necrophilia and other extreme sexual acts.
The 31-year-old teacher was strangled by musician Graham Coutts, 35, from Hove, just hours after he viewed such sites.
He was jailed for life for murdering the young woman, whose corpse he stashed in a storage unit for 35 days, during which time he visited it 10 times.

Mr Blunkett's spokesman added: "The Home Secretary briefed the US officials on the Jane Longhurst case and they were horrified by the details."

Possible action could involve work with internet service providers and credit card companies, whose services allow people to pay to access the porn on the web, he said.
