Thread: CCcam.cfg

Hi Hope someoen can help, Any idea where the CCcam.cfg file is located, I am using ftp to copy the file to my laptop. Also how do I view the file. Thanks

    Hi

    its normally located in var/etc, or just etc depending on what box your using. you need to select where your saving it to through the ftp software, i normally just stick stuff on desktop then its easily accessible, also you can read the config file using notepad!

    i think both get you to the same directory wheather you use var/etc or just etc, but i dont own a tm so not 100%, but you found it anyway and thats all that matters

    But dont use notepad to edit as its a windows editor and can sometimes leave strange characters in your file when saving,

    use something like metapad or PSPad or at a push notepad++ as these will format your file using the unix system

    Are you sure you have a TM800HD, ccam.cfg is located in /etc on a TM800HD.

    var/etc leads to the same place jasw mate
    just a different way of getting to it, more clicks that way lol
