Starting this thread to find out what level of success peeps are having with the pvr features of this box.
I am using a "maxtorbasics 250 gb usb powered hdd"
I have a 95% success rate with instant record,(record button), slightly less with "epg" recording, & absolutely no success at all with "pause/rewind live tv".
Thought if peeps could post what hdd they are using & there success's we could narrow down which are the best hdd's/usb sticks to be using with this box.
Thanks in advance:Wave:

I have only used a Kingstong 32gb usb stick but epg recording works fine, the problem I found was the recording will only start and stop on the exact time of the epg so if the programmes runs over 2minutes as they usually do it will miss the last part or the first part if it starts early.

However I have been told how to manually extends times so will test that tonight but would be nice to add 3minutes to start and end of recordings by default when recording using epg...

Never used manual record so cant comment, never bothered with live rewind... Think I tried pause once and the picture paused but sounds continued...

I'm using a WD 250GB HDD, FAT32. No problems at all, Pauses live tv, records no problem. A thing to remember is to manualy extend recording time when recording from epg otherwise it will stop at the end of the epg program time. I always give it an extra 2 or 3 minutes as a rule of thumb. If its a sports program etc, I would give it a whole lot extra
