Hig guys just after a few opinions, i currently have 1 tv hooked up to aerial in the loft using rg59(i know but i install cctv for a living lol), with a very good signal. Im now going to split it to another 2/3 tvs. I have got a splitter and im going to try that 1st without any booster/amplifier. Im going to replace the rg59 with better cable and run the better cable to the new point. My question is what would be better for the install rg6 or wf100. bearing in mind its only for freeview, tia

I'm no expert but afaik rg6 is standard contract coax cable and WF100 has much better sheilding and so you have less "signal loss" which if splitting would be better, keep the cable runs as short as poss with no kinks (obviously) also this log 40 ariel http://www.aerialsandtv.com/atvschoiceofaerials.html#LogPeriodics Online TV FM DAB Aerial sales[/url] is very good if splitting the signal (try your's first), not a lot to pay when you consider the price of the TV's etc.

I also install cctv for a living an have tons of the stuff lol

wf100 is better but if the runs ain't long rg59 would be fine, i use to install for n*l/vermin a few years ago an all they use to a property is rg59 unless its a long run then they use rg11, but thinking about it they did use rg6 inside the property, but think most sky installers use wf100.
