BBC iplayer on my Sony

I have just bought myself a Sony KDL-NX703. Everything works really well apart from BBC iplayer. Demand5, Eurosport, Youtube etc.. all work perfectly and I can access the without any problem.
When I go to access iplayer, it says I need to update my TV software and to turn on my automatic software updater. I have done this but the software does not seem to update.
Can anyone help me? I'm really stuck. BBC iplayer was one of the reasons for getting this TV and it's blank!:Cry:

read the above, please make sure you download the correct file mate

I take it your's is one of these models check though and if not look on the site for the right one

I have the 713, and you can manually download the software and install. All you need is a pendrive.

Advice to anyone doing this. Make sure you follow the method given to you by sony (see website from shaun 127) to the letter!!

My TV upgraded its self, I installed it. Went out for a while had a browse on the Sony site and went hey new firmware. Lets check my version and it was current
