New patch for tm-5302-HD and tm-5502-HD


Fixed
1- Blind Scan is still unreliable (Stops before scan completed) at times not 100% working as intended,
2-/Front end set up (Tuner loop out) if ON is selected no signal to TM5302HD tuner but signal ok to loop out,
If OFF is selected (Tuner loop out) Signal ok to TM5302HD & loop out is ok,(Needs sorting as it will confuse new owners of the TM5302HD,
Fixed - changed Off/On to Master/Slave (Master : default value)
3-PVR works ok manually but you have to switch the receiver to Standby for delete content to happen,

4/Now able to update satellite names manually (switch receiver to standby for new Satellite names to take effect)
5/Biss keys update manually ok (switch receiver to standby for new data to take effect)
6/DiSEqC motor in USALS still does not move to selected satellite at 1st attempt (select another satellite then the one you want & depress the ok button for 3 to 5 sec)
7/YouTube works some ok,will be fixed fully next,
8/Unable to change satellite data base to include new satellites in sequence due to lack of an Editor for the TM5302HD tbn file system,

10/Failure to switch the TM5302 to standby will result in manually changed data being lost,

As they are test patches can feedback be left here please. Many thanks for you contributions.

Testing Test-Phantompatch-TM-5302_11Jan2013.tbn (Save last channel list 1st to usb stick)

1/Factory reset + turn off from mains for 1 min to remove all previous data,
2/Loaded Test-Phantompatch-TM-5302_11Jan2013.tbn via usb stick,
3/Factory reset
4/Load channel list
(Biss & CAS keys have remained as I last set them so no need to update this time,
5/Reset USALS

Now testing other features:

Blind Scan Start 12500 Stop 12750 H & V @ 3MHz 1st test ok completed scan of frequencies then found TV & radio working as intended,

I will test for a couple of days for reliability & report back later,


Tuner Loop Out
Master setting = signal TM5302 ok & to receiver 2 ok
Slave setting = No signal to TM5302HD reduced signal to receiver 2 ( after switch receiver to standby for change to take effect)


We still see to have a problem here (But all functions work ok on Master?)

Strange that I can download channel editor for TM5302HD with link by MDT but not the link by Abu Baniaz (Message=you have exceeded your daily download ?)

DiSEqC Motor 1.3 USALS working ok now & able to view tv as soon as the motor arrives at the satellite with no delay as before.

Blind Scan finding low symbol rate transponders with 3 MHz step scan 1800 to 45000
--------------------------------------------------------------- 2 MHz step scan 1200 to 45000

Blind scan stopping before scan completed after 2 to 3 scans so i am having to manually select satellite scan to find new tv from found transponders,

So switched receiver to standby then switched off mains & now scanning 10950 to 11200 with one polarity & it works ok again ????

Problem not solved.

Blind scan now stopping before all transponders found on single polarity scan,

Shame as it was looking good but the Blind Scan is still unstable.

After a Blind Scan some found active transponders Polarity has changed in the data base = no signal until you manually correct.

Switching the receiver to standby after a blind scan seems to have temporally cured this software fault (Scan H standby then scan V standby) now view channels.

No it is not but still WIP

With the Ethernet connected the receiver starts to go wrong big time unable to scan transponders manually & receiver crashes,

So some positives from my test I hope this helps with the next software release.

Back to Phantom patch for November 9th 2012 as this was the most stable so far for me.
