The goody bags seem alright on this and I prefer O2 coverage.

I did read somewhere that data access seems slower than O2 though.

Does anyone have experience of this?

i been on giffgaff for a couple of years now, have no issues with the data connection at all.

works really well :)

Same here been with them for a couple of years and no problems

It was possibly a shill posting on forums that the data was slow :).

Im after some sort of PAYG option for my daughter

Whats there PAYG charges like ? dont want monthly

your not tied into a contract with the goody bags, just exchange airtime for one if you want one.

here's their call charges

I was with them for 1 month to try....however I quickly ditched them. I had very poor internet speed when I could get a signal

The offer is good but it depends where you live and If O2 have coverage

I'm now with virgin, they use EE network I get great speed only £10 per month on sim only deal

And no I don't work for them lol

Hope this helps

My whole family on GiffGaff, spot on. I get the tenner goodybag. Can't beat them.

Hope THIS helps

So the tenner lasts 1 month for ex amount of minutes etc what after the month if you don't get another goodybag

With giffgaff you buy a 1 month allowance for £10 you get 500 mins, 1GB of data and unlimited text

You can pay more and get more....if you don't renew your goody bag it's just payg phone

My experience of giff gaff is great for calls but the data is crap waste of time i could never get a connection....

That's all I want is a payg deal with cheapish calls etc

Cheapest I've seen is three
3p calls
2p texts
1p per MB

Don't use data but calls are ok. £5 hokey cokey a month is enough for me. Best thing is 90% of peeps i call are on giff gaff as well so calls/texts are free which means I only have to buy goody bag once every 3 months if i wanted.

@VectorZ could you explain this a bit more, you say £5 a month hokey cokey then you say you only need topup every 3 months. I thought with goody bags it had to be every month. how do you get the 3 months?

As you can tell i'm new to giff gaff, and I'm trying to decide if this or 3mobiles 123 deal is for me.

Thanks Abu Baniaz, so you loose your remaining minutes and texts to other networks got it.

Think i'll go with 3 for now until more family members switch to giff gaff.

No so much as lose but expires.

Treat the two items separately.
1. Free GG call for three months after topping up.
2. Whatever addon you get (This is optional)

I just got a sim sent out, so your basicly paying £10 for the calls, text and data and you loose the £10 you put in

what network does Giffgaff run on?, looking for a new contract but don't want to go for one that has bad reception.
