I've transferred my Vodaphone Sim from my Samsung Galaxy SIII to my Nokia N8 but the contacts haven't gone with it.

Normally, when I've switched phones before, the contacts have gone with it but not this time.

How can I get my contacts onto my new phone please?

I normally keep everything sync'ed with my google account so when I moved phones then contacts are already there. If you go into settings, account and select your google account there should be an option to sync contacts, mail, photos, etc

The I use titanium backup to copy over text messages and call history. It can also do wifi networks and a bunch of other stuff. Don't remember copying over any other settings.

You can check that your contacts have sync'ed

log onto your gmail account through a web browser on your PC.
Under the google logo at the top, it should say gmail and have a little drop down box option
Click on the arrow and select contacts

You should now see your contacts. At least you can confirm that they have been copied from your old phone.

I clicked 'contacts' but only get email contacts..not phone contacts.

Re insert sim in your old phone and save all your contacts to the sim card, then put sim card in new phone and transfer them to the phone
