I have been receiving this channel on the S2 East Beam for a few months now... but I have never received it during the daytime... it has only ever appeared (for me) at night after 7.00pm.

However... I noticed the channel was viewable this morning at about 8.00am... and I am still watching it now at 11.45am. So I was wondering... are there any other forum members (in the UK) who can also receive this channel on the S2 East Beam...?

I would appreciate any feedback...

I will check at home, as I have a dish pointed to Helsat and only ever watch Diema or Nova Sports for 3 pm kick offs.

This signal on this channel/frequency is now the strongest I have ever seen it... I checked the reception this morning at about 8.15am... so if you have not already found this channel/frequency on this satellite... then now would be a very good time to try... surely there must be others members who can receive this channel/frequency ATM

You will most probably need to tweak your dish position very slightly to pick up this frequency/signal on the S2 East Beam

Again... any feedback would be greatly appreciated...

If anyone is interested... this channel changed frequency a couple of months ago and the signal is now a lot stronger than the last time I reported... I checked the reception about an hour ago...

Hi again all,

I've been unable to lock any transponder signals on the S2 East Beam since Deniz TV (11.670 H) left around December last year... however I was scanning the S2 East Beam (11.400H~11.700H) earlier today and surprisingly came across an active feed... it was showing a Greek Orthodox church service... I must have caught the very end of the feed transmission because just as I'd set up my camera for a few pictures... the screen suddenly went black... so unfortunately no pictures...

It's Just under lock this one for me, I will keep an eye on it zorch, I see what your saying about moving the dish a few moves east to bring it in.

I've (somehow) managed to get a signal lock and pictures on another transponder from the S2 East Beam... I'm really surprised that I can get this one as the Signal Quality is very low on my receiver... just 41%

This S2 East Beam transponder/channel is receivable again... it disappeared a few days ago but it's now back on and the Signal Strength/Signal Quality is even higher than before... despite the rain...

I thought for once I might be in with a chance of picking up a channel where Zorch has attained quite a high signal quality. But all to no avail.:Mad2:

It just goes to show, what I already know, and that's just how crap my TD110 is compared to Zorch's Fibo. I could, of course, get a slightly larger dish such as a Channel Master but I don't think it would make that much of a difference.

You'd think perhaps, it might be in the interests of some Chinese company or suchlike to have a go at manufacturing a Dual-Offset dish.

I'm amazed you can't get this on a 1.1m dish given the amount of Signal Quality it's currently showing... are you positive mate...?

First peak the signal on 11.012 V 30000 then go to 11.617 H 2500 and tweak your dish very very slightly to the East... one step at a time... and wait about 30 seconds after each step... sometimes the very weak signals won't register immediately...

Using same equipment as manic but in NW England, no sign of a signal at 7pm.

I've done exactly as Zorch suggested and the sky is clear at this time.

Thoroughly disappointed to be honest but I won't give up.
