Usually, attics are old, dusty places where we store our old, dusty stuff. They're a mess of cobwebs and exposed beams that make it a not-so-friendly place to be. This guy's is the exception, though.

Instead of leaving his attic as an inhabitable dust room, he decided to fix it up into the mancave he's always dreamed about. No, he didn't make it a prettier storage space, he made it into an incredible revamped den.

His den was constructed to look just like a boat's cabin. It turned out AWESOME.

had a look at converting my loft. Same problem as a lot of modern houses, low roof and W trusses. Trusses I can get round by installing a steel lintel running the length of the roof and then replacing the trusses. But the height thing is a problem, I believe building regs say you need 2m clearance. One option would to be drop the ceiling on 1st floor, but that would leave it really low.

I guess Building Regs wouldn't be a problem for him - it's not a UK build.

Never mind that shite H, if Mrs M gets to see this you are in deep doo doo m8. It is bound to be your next project. :( Now then about my kitchen pmpl I can see a hint of blackmail coming out here. Mwahahaha.

Haha! My roof is double-hipped, a bit like the pic, zero chance of boarding it out!
