Thread: Bosch al 1130 cv

Forum: General DIY and Home Appliances

I've been given a power tool battery charger to look at, it keeps blowing the internal fuse, would anyone have any ideas as to whats wrong or maybee a circuit diagram? Cheers, Dar

It looks a bit like the box capacitor near the fuse has been smoking.
My very unscientific approach would be to stick a piece of heavy duty wire where the fuse is and see what starts smoking. Needless to say I haven't fixed much this way
Might be of more use to some of the techy folks on here if you mentioned what make and model etc.

I have same charger with exactly same problem. I measured all electrolytic capacitors with ESR-meter - they were all good. I desoldered the yellow box cap (beside the fuse) as a troubleshooting, no help. The fuse burns very violently and immediately. Did you get a solution, dar1437??
