I've downloaded a few tv shows from the net and some are ok and some the sound is out of sink with the picture by about 2 seconds.
I've tried playing the films in other other movie players i.e Media classic and VLC and it's still the same.

Any ideas on how I can get the sound back in line, Or will I have to make do with it looking like a japanese film from the 70's lol

Cheers?

same problem here but only after converting to dvd with divx format found using winavi video converter at the moment and no problems and fast :)

Is it the same the whole way through or does it get increasingly out of sync?

If its the former you can use virtual dub and demux the audio and remux it with a correct offset. If its the latter then its a bad encode (often caused if someone (a) doesn't cut at keyframes right or (b) uses VBR audio in a program not able to handle it)

cheers for the feed back.
it;s all the way through the problem so it must be bad encode. Might giev it a go with one of them audio programs to see if I can get it in sync.

Cheers
