Hi people somebody at work asked me what he should be using when using a bt torent program. could anyone give me a list of where and what he needs. he has avira antivius runnin anduses windows vista firewall as well as defender kindest regards have a real good crimboXxX

yeah I'd 2nd that, there's a few out there, but for simplicity I'd get utorrent, remember if he/she is sitting behind a router they will have to open a port on it to allow the full potential of the share/torrent.

you need Utorrent 1.6 it doesn't install just runs from where ever you download it to so it's very small and a good private torrent site for british tv thebox.bz is good general torrents potuk is good no virii in their files

With potuk you would need an invite as for no viruses in their files i will have to disagree with that one had a couple of viruses from their apps section but it is a good site though..

thanks people. i was thinkin more of the security asspects my matealready uses btjunkie and megaups both dot coms. thnks for other reccomendations for sites. peer guardian wll be advised but are there any other free products out there?

I thought although i dont use torrentz there would be no harm in me installing peer guardian to try it however when updatin ip lists it comes up on all accounts with fail to update error..is there a way i can get lists off net because i see you can make your own and presume some people are sharing there lists somewhere....

Just installed Peerblock.

I would recommend even if you are not using torrents
