Police Auctions

Keep seeing ebooks on ebay for the police auctions, or there are a couple of subscribe to websites on a google search.
Apparently there is a regular big police auction in Manchester, but I don't know where or how often they are. There is a car auction place somewhere in Ellesmere Port (on the Wirral) that deals with old police vehicles too (not sure if it does recovered stolen vehicles as they belong to the insurance companies, whilst most other unclaimed impounded cars get crushed and the owners get charged (if they can be found)).
If you live down south you could give www.bumblebeeauctions.co.uk (I say down south as that is where most of the stuff is). However, its a fairly popular site now, so you could end up paying more than you would on eBay.

Check your local forces websites. Strathclyde Police (my local force) hold an auction every 3 months very near my house. They publicise on their website. Some good stuff, some cr*p but all with no reserve.
