anyone know much about these i have got a plasma which im going to put on the wall but cant connect the dvd by scart so would a video sender work ??

yeh ive seen that 1 plugs into the dvd and one into the tv but do they work is the sound and quality good

Well I watch allot of tv in bed at night via the video sender and you can't really tell its wireless so I'd yes

I just checked mine and i have sound from both speakers so id say thats another yes, the only drawback i have is that if someone walks across the path of the signal it will break up for a second .

also im sure Kalipo has one with his plasma and says the picture is very bad.

I bought a cheapo one from Aldi (Tevion) I have the sender downstairs and the reciever upstairs, picture quality is not bad considering it is sendig through the bedroom floor which I know contains a lot of electrical wiring.

Allroad, all the video senders I've come across, degrade the picture quality. I'd say if your using a digital TV source (Freeview or Sly), try switching to analogue, thats a good representation of what you'll get when using a video sender link. Most of the units do stereo sound, but not all, mainly the very cheap ones (looks like all the non 2.4ghz wifi based units)are mono.

Hope this helps..

I would not reccomend a video sender, as lone says it degrades the sound and picture quality.

Also as it works on 2.2 -2.4ghz it picks up interferance easily.

We tried one in my dads pub for a while, and it had to in line of sight and high up, but was very probe to cracks pops and noise
