i cant vote in the poll because im english but i dont want scotland to leave the UK personally,regards mdt

I can't vote either, 'cos I'm too far away. But it does seem that more English want to keep hold of Scotland than vice-versa, and I am basing that observation on what I see & hear from friends & family, not the biassed lies trotted out in the media.

But, FWIW, I was undecided, but having heard both sides, I'm still undecided! Typical me, sitting on the fence :-0

The way I read between the lines is The uk Gov need Scotlands wealth hence the reason they are beginning to panic. So maybe Scotland would be better off independent in the long run.

1-major Westminster politicians get sacked
2-taxation increases both sides of the border
3-immigration to Scotland increases
4-cost of borrowing in Scotland gets worrying

And that's from someone in FAVOUR of devolution!

1 about time some of them got the boot
2 this might be the case but we might keep a better public service
3 yes most of Newcastle
4 yes true but so will the cost of borrowing in England as the banks will still need to keep profit levels up
