New Fence panels

Just had a new fence put up 4 overlap fence panels with concrete posts.question is should i paint them or leave them until summer next year?

if panels dry then treat then with paint or stain

Paint this week before footie starts wife will love you for it,well for a week anyway...........

Really depends on whether they were treated panels or not m8

It's unusual to see untreated panels for sale nowadays.

True but they can be got,at least over here anyway,

If they have only been dip treated then they need re doing ever two years,if they have been pressure treated then they are supposed to be good for 15 years

i use the same stuff on my fences as i do on my decking, its called liberon, i use the clear and it repeals water.
The stuff isnt cheap but its the best stuff ive found, with a lot of the cheaper stuff i found they pealed after a few years making a right mess.
I usually apply a fresh coat to the lot annually but this year i found it was still waterproof (probally because of the mild winter) so only applied in a few places.
