Drove off from traffic warden

Heres the senario

I parked in a space i shouldn't. Literally 2 mins i was away.
Came back to car warden writing a ticket
I jump in the car to drive off
He obstructs me to try and keep me in the space
I ask him if he could move please
He doesn't so i keep edging out and pull off.
As im driving off he throws the ticket receipt through my window (drivers side)
I throw it back out
Takes a picture of the car driving off

It seems his rush to get his camera out might mean he didn't take pictures of my car parked up.

Do you think ill get something through the post? or have i got away with it?

Fair enough i was in the wrong but seriously i was like 2 minutes parked there.

If you are lucky Mr friendzi you may even get a visit from your local Policeman.

What right has the warden to stand in front of you? You may be lucky a similiar thing happened to a friend of mine. He did get the ticket in the post. He contacted them to ask for evidence as he said he couldnt remember parking there. They were unable to provide any evidence and eventually the ticket was withdrawn. Well he had no right to. It was like he was tying to keep me in the parking space.

friendzi, don't worry if he has got no evidence of you parking in that bay only you driving away I don't think it is good enough. Anything that comes through the post deny parking there just tell them it must be a mistake as you never parked there. Let them prove it.

Time will tell. His face was a picture though. Dont think he expected it.

Not sure if you will get away with it tbh.
Plenty of time for a visit from the old bill yet.

Old Bill don't have time to follow on proper crimes let alone something like this. If he got a shot of your reg driving away, and has the resources to look you up, then worst you could probably expect is an anonymous bag if shite in the post..... I know I would

Old bill will do nothing unless you hit him with your car...dont worry about that.

What will happen is you will probably get a notice to owner through the door in 30 days saying that you have failed to pay your parking fine.

You need to contest it and say that the parking attendant caused you to park in contravention as he blocked your way. (You didnt park illegally. No such thing as parking illegally. Parking enforcement has been de-criminalised for years).

When you get the notice to owner, it will be for the full amount. Its a no brainer to contest it and take it all the way, it will cost you nothing extra, maybe a little bit of time and reading.

is he not committing an offence by sitting on a bonnet of a moving vehicle?

He didn't actually sit on my car bonnet. He basically lent against the drivers side wing. But as I started edging out he moved threw the ticket in my windows and rushed for his camera. So I gave him his ticket back
