Not to my knowledge and I would not buy a repaired/used elec item of any kind and not at over £400

Did you buy from shop or ebay?
If shop surely you would of seen no other tv for sale.
They don't sell tv on their website or shop so not sure where you got it from.
Strange you weren't sure of shops name as well.

Thanks m8 I'm on to them just filled in trading standards letter if complaint and sent it off today lg are also looking into it I'm expecting a call today from lg and to top it off my xbox 1 comes on Monday

just something else mate , the letter you are getting from LG saying BER, keep the original with you, do not send it to the retailer, Citizens advice or trading standards, keep it and only send photocopies. That bit of paper will be classed as an "experts opinion" should it go to court. Also I would personally except the TV back from LG. Its not their fault and the blame as I see it, is with Sands, You need to contact Citizens advice and let them help you with this, keep all paperwork etc receipts and take them with you to any appointment you get with them

Just to add, if it had been previously repaired by lg it would of been on their database.

I used paypal/credit card. that seller is at it, hes now changed his story wanting me to send tv back for inspection and he will see what he can do. that's email the copy ebay only keep listings for 90 days
