i ran up a bill with dual fuel after being messed about by them and was paying off the arrears
i spoke to n-power who advised me to phone the energy fund charis grants on

n-power said that i would not speak to anyone but would need to leave a few details and an application form would be sent out (which i am waiting for )
so i asked them if this was only for certain people and they said no you can have a mansion and 2 rollers outside and still qualify
so if you have dept the try this way they might pay the dept off for you you never know

i had probs with n-power few years ago as well. They sent me latter 1 day that ivent paid a bill for all year but i did then they said that they had some issues with DB and my records dont come up and i still have to pay. Lucy me ive saved all bills and i cud prove may payments.

Now im with EDF = cheaper and better service

i am having the same problem with N Power at the moment, havent been billed for a year keep calling them askin for a bill i cant afford to pay a 2 grand bill in two weeks, so worried about it

Why havent you put the money away every month, you were always eventually going to get a bill.

I had a similar problem when I first bought the house im in (new build) I got my electric account set up but it took almost a year for them to sort my gas. (same provider) I just paid double to the electric then when the gas account finally got set up I just transferred it from the overpaid leccy to the gas

if you having trouble paying why not have prepayment meter fitted
