Hi Guys

I bought a digital TV with built in Freeview for the bedroom to replace my existing CRT that I used with a freeview digibox I dont have a digital aerial but have a booster and picked up all the freeview channels fine.

Initially I plugged my boosted aerial into the new TV but the signal was not strong enough to be able to watch BBC 1 BBC 2 ITV 1 Channel 4 Channel 5 ITV2 and BBC3.

So I reconnected my digibox but still cannot view these progs ( picture is pixalised and keeps jumping about or just displays a red dot.

Is it likely to be the TV set or do I need to get a digital aerial

have you tried setting it up in the living room, using the ariel for the main tv ? or try in someone elses house, that should give you the answer.

NO such thing as a digital aerial but if your's is crap and old it might be worth upgrading to a high gain aerial, you can get them cheap enough from places like Screwfix or Toolstation.

i got a cheap one from wilkinsons last year for my daughters bedroom, laid it down on top of the old water tank in the loft, pointing in the right direction & works perfect. £12.
