so as it's now dark before 9.00pm i see the old space station is out...the brightest star or some times the only star in the sky.......looking south, you should see it....some times over the winter months and that you can see it really bright in the sky...apperently they have attached that much stuff to it that it reflects more of the sun than it used to, thus making it visible in the night time sky more prodimninat than prevouis years

Was out with the Dog a few nights ago and I thought it was Venus, then remembered that Venus shouldn't be there at this time of year. :)

Tomorrow I'm gonna launch a firework directly at it and knock the fucker out my view.

You can get realtime data regarding the station and possible sighting opertunities directly from Nasa

Human Space Flight (HSF) - Realtime Data

Just input your position (or nearesrt city) and get the next sighting.

Thu 10th @ 20:58 looks a possible. Couple of mins getting as close as 450 miles so should be quite bright if its clear.

Also a possibility at 22:33 but will be much fainter.

Fri @ 21:23 looke really good - gets to 317 miles

Sat 20:13 and 21:47 dont look too bad also

The Nasa java app even tells you proper direction to look in !
