i have just got in from me hols and relised i forgot to pay sky £41.41 so i paid it first thing this morning. i rang them to say ive paid it and to restore viewing they said i cant cos the accounts blocked, i said sorry its late i paid this morning he said nope u need to pay another 38.50 x2 i said get fecked put me through to cancellations he said no they wont take ur call. so i hung up and phoned cancellations my self. he said i cant see the problem ill restore viewing it will be on in a few hours.

so here i am 13 hours later no sky. i rang them they said nope u need to pay 38.50 x2 i said feck that put me through to cancellation she said no, so again i hung up.

rang cancellations yet again she said we cant cancel ur account as its blocked!!! i said i dont want it no more she said u will still get billed every month unless u unblock the account. so they are gonna charge me 41.41 and not provide sky tv!!!

where do i stand ? (i am no longer under a 12 month contract)

They cant charge you viewing when your not receiving it. Your are entitled to cancel your contract if you are in dispute of the bill, you will have to send a letter but keep calling them also. I think if you have the phone with them and can still get incoming calls they can charge you line rental but thats it
 
sky charge for services a month in advance, so tell them to shove it, and cancel the DD

you wont owe a penny

then resubscribe in a different surname ;)
