I need to purchase a new media hard drive with plenty of space to use both as a back up drive and to connect to the TV to watch my videos from.
I have seen this -
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....trkparms=algo=DR&its=S%2BI&itu=UCI%2BSI&otn=4
Seems a great price for 1000gb (1TB) and it has 3 years warrenty for the drive.

Also I want a 100gb to 200gb USB Only slim, pocket sized drive.

Any ideas where I could buy one for a really good price pls?

the features on them are excellent and works great. if you are going to have it turned on 24/7 then it wont last very well. if you have it on just when you use it then its good. i had one that i left on 24/7 and the board inside got fried.

Was it the exact same make m8?
It does have warrenty so if it doesnt last 24/7 ill return it.

You also know any slim small 100-200gb usb drives around the net that are for a good price?

Right im going for this multimedia Hard drive & recorder -

= £162 inc P&P

and either

250gb Slim USB Powered Slimline Drive ESATA II and USB
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/250gb-Slim-US...hZ021QQcategoryZ16178QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem
for £72 inc P&P

or

Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini - Hard drive - 160 GB - external - 2.5" - Hi-Speed USB - 5400 rpm - buffer: 8 MB - Aryantech
for £56

Which slim line should I go for?
The above 1TB drive should be fine, as its for 1 year warrenty on the case and contents and 3 years on the drive.

1TB sounds great on PAPER...But BEWARE when putting all your eggs in one basket...
Do you really need a 1TB for Movies..I would go for TWO 500GB instead..Far safer..JMHO

The case comes with 1 year warrenty and the hard drive comes with 3 years.
Would't that be a plus point to go for it?

i think the point he was trying to make was it great having a 3 year warrenty but keep in mind if the drive f*** up on you then you have lost all date on that drive
