After the recent Child Benefit details thing and now the dodgy donations to the Labour Party , is Gordon Brown fit to be PM?
I think Brown would be a good and decent PM but he's dead in the water now, lost all trust.

maybe a poll?

Anyone who has sat in the background for the last ten years undermining his boss has got to be dodgy.

do u know politics piss me off
they all remind me of kids
all looking for something wrong

reminds me of my dad can fight ur dad
(answer back) yes but my mum can beat ur mum

why the fook dont they stop pissing about and govern the country

u all have to know we and them yes hard to think we r all human and so make mistakes

how many on this forum can hold there hands up and say they have never made a mistake
and did this mistake let somebody else down

i will be the first one yes i have made misstakes and yes
i have been punished for them but this doesnt stop me making them
ok i have my moan when things go up
beer cigs(stopped now so dont give a fook)
petrol car tax
but tell me dont all partys put prices up
the first thing they do when the r elected in to government is put there hands up for a pay rise
fook u ,u can have 2%
we the government need 25%

so me i sit back now
and think as long as i have enough monet to have a desent life
holidays
spends when i want on new goods
tv,car
etc etc
i leave the gov to do what they want

think hes finding it hard filling the shoes of his predecessor
though i do think everything would settle down for him, (i hope), poor soul hes been dreaming for the position for so long, its probably all to much for him now lol
cameron absolutely wipes his feet with gordon in pmq's, something he wasnt able to do with tony
though im not a big fan of either brown or cameron, i'd rather see gordon run the country then cameron (the twat)

i dont trust him, watch browns hands when hes making a speech:

looks at his papers

aranges his papers

touches papers

look at papers

ensure papers are square

tap fingers on stand then rearange papers

touch papers again

pick papers up, tap the bottom of em so there all neat (as you do)

look at papers

repeat the above in no particular order untill end of speech.

dodgy as fook

blair has shown him the ropes, therefore i dont trust him an inch.

I have never trusted the slippery barstuard either after all he has been there through all the intrest rate increases in the past after falsly lowering the rates too far in the first place only to have the bank of england hit us with higher interest rates 3-4 times in consession to try to make up the losses incured by this.

He will well and truly f**k this country then after increasing funding for his homeland (scotland) piss off to live there again when it all ends. (i am not slagging the scotts either) just him alone.

I never voted him in so why is he running this country anyway.

Just my opinion (probably wrong but who cares).:lsabre:

tbh no politician is fit to hold any sort of post they are all a bunch of no good liars and only interested in what they want not what we want
that is how it has always been and always will

I owuldnt mind having an election, would give us a chance to choose the party/PM.

Beats letting someone form the desicion for us I think :)

He is an unelected prime minister. I dont think he has the charisma also that you need in a prime minister.
He is probably a good worker but behind the scenes.

Monster Raving Loony Party probably be better

Im not sure Cameron is up to it, I dont normally vote tory, but Im not impressed with current labour govt.

I'm sick of charisma. It's just a talent for getting what you want while smiling or looking sincere.

have u ever chosen
the priminister
i dont think so
u only vote for the mp in ur constitunecy

Just vote UKIP and be done with it...

I Haven't and never will vote a Labour goverment into power..

Makes you wonder who actually did because everyone i have spoke to says the same.. keep the crap out... since labour firsttime cant afford houses.. fuel prices through the roof.. too many imagrants.. alas again i could go on..

My Elders have always said they should got Ennot Power in.. No.. stick up for what you believe and your racist.. Look now im not even allowed to smoke... bah....

No current politician of any of the parties is fit to be Prime Minister?

the two candidates running for the lib dem are good, but im a bit iffy on there party policies as a whole.
EDIT:
that said theres no chance the lib dems would be elected any time soon lol, that goes for all parties , excluding labour and the tories of course (and theyve got shite leaders, so doesnt matter any way). so im stuck im chosing the lesser "evil"

lol............

he's the BOSS..?... anit he........

i know if i was my boss, he would soon kick my ar**.....?......lol............

thats correct TDN he is the boss. but hes still fairly new at the job. i still think he might be a decent guy (if thats poss with politicians)
tbh i feel sorry for him right now . he may not be full of bullshit and bravado like TB and he may look akward at question time but i honestly think he desreves a chance

I agree with pks00, he is an un elected leader!. I'm not a labour voter any way so I cant wait to get them out. I dont trust him or labour, it's only the poor performence of the conservatives that have kept them in this long. The era of spin is dead !

I think there all has bad has each other none cant be trusted say one thing do another.... im sick of poly-shiteees

Non of the politicians care about the average person - they are all a waste of space and corrupt as well.... just look at the last month all the things they have been getting up to is now been caught and revealed.

This old chestnut again! :grayyawn: This is not the USA. We don't elect leaders in this country.

As davidh has already pointed out in post #13, the only person you vote for is your local MP. The leader of the party that forms the Government is then the P.M. There is no constitutional requirement for a political party to vote for its leader either

Plenty of British Prime Ministers have come to power in exactly the same way as Gordon Brown did. It has never been an issue before. Why should it be now?

Quite agree. There's nothing unusual about how GB came to office at all.
I'm all for giving him a fair crack at the job, but then I'd rather Vlad the Impaler than Tony Blair, couldn't stand the sod!
