smoking ban,,
can u belive this ban that is coming in. ha, it will last a month then everyone will just do it agen any way, cum on how can u stop a smoking country form smoking.

For eg, i go to this lovly irsh pub but it is full of smokers 24/7 and how will they stop old people and young from doing what they want ,, yes there will be fines and everythink but come on this is jsut going to die down after a while and people no matter what will smoke so insted now people walking the street have to breath this shit in..

were the loggic behind dat. ha ha ha :Smokin::Smokin::Smokin::Smokin:

It's law in every other country in the UK, why should England be different.

If the pub/restaurant gets caught allowing people to smoke, they will get fined or shut down. That's only going to increase the prices of drink and food or you might not even have a place to drink after it closes.

If you want a cig, go outside for 3 minutes like everywhere else in the UK.

How many more smoking ban rant threads are we going to get!

Its happening!!! Get over it!

Yeah live with it guys the whole point is to save lives, 6 months from now you'll wonder what all the fuss whas about and yes im a smoker..

Me drinking does not affect someone else's health (unless I twat them). Where as the smoking affects everyone else. Remember its not the used smoke that causes the harm, its the unfiltered burn from the end!

it effects peoples health when they get batter and die becoz the person doing the hitting is drunk and also when people drink and drive that damages health. I dont smoke but I just think this is going too far now . Why cant they just keep designated areas for smokers . You dont see people in casualty becoz someone has gone off there heads with smoking and battered them ? or ran them over when pi55ed with a cig

it does if they go beserk through drink in the pub . Why cant they just have areas for smokers wonder what the goverment will tax more because they relay on the tax from people smoking . They will put tax up somewhere to compensate for it then everyone will suffer non-smokers as well

i did not relise, every pub had someone that went berserk in it it everyday!

maybe I AM WRONG!

But i do know there is smokers in a plub every day affecting everyone!

They do have smoking areas....its outside!

and you wonder why the country is they way it is, people who think they are better that the Law!

Twats I say !

Well why cant they just have pubs for noone smokers would please everyone then . Next it will be what you can drink what you cant drink what you can eat what you cant when to go to bed when to get up . Non-smokers will complain when TAX goes up on things like I said . I dont smoke but would rather be in the company of a smoker than the company of someone who is pi55ed out of their head causing bother .If you have been in an A&E department recently especially at weekends you can see what drink does to people I was in there the other week and out of about 20 people id say at least 11 were drunk and in a right mess the majority had been fighting or hurt themselves because they were pi55ed anyway like you said how many more posts will there be about smoking wait for a couple of weeks it will get worse.Where I work we had a letter stating even though it starts on the 1st July you have a months grace to stop .

Let's face it people, the reality is that non smokers now accounts for the majority of the population. That being thecase why should the majority have to suffer at the hands of the minorty, espicially when it proven beyond doubt that smoking can kill you.

In my eyes its not about laws or such, its about common sense and a desire for as long and healthy a life as possible.

If you want to take risks with your life, then by all means do so, that's your choice, but do not expose anybody else to those risks.

The courty is In a mess.. and the law has always been a arse..
Has nothing to do with smoking IMO.? If your was talking about the risk to peoples health.. I would have to agree... But im Not intrested in any bull sh** laws when kids are dying on our streets thro knifes and drugs.

More poeple have died in wars then thro smoking, And more people have died of aids then any war. So i see smoking low risk. ;)

I read somewhere that pubs that have provided designated smoking areas outside have also bought 2 or 3 (average) propane powered gas lamps to keep the smokers warm whilst having a ciggie. That adds upto literally 100's of thousands of extra propaine/butaine powered gas lamps seeping into our enviroment. So we ban smoking to ensure the safety of our health and put the enviroment around us at risk from an unvented influx of pollution how fucking sensible are we. Jeez talk about out of the flying pan.

So you honestly think it's ok for one person to die from another persons smoke, were not on about wars or aids that has nothing to do with anything
