heared people say that you cant detect high mac addys any more not true.
I just detected my own.
I got two modems with high macs and dhcpforce picked up one.
I was jumping up and down untill i realised that mac address looked familiar!!!
So i'll keep that sucker scanning 24/7 now.

I wouldn't get your hopes up as I picked up my own bund03.cm but when my uncle put it on at his house it didn't pick it up and were on the same gateway.

Dhcp force recieves bund for me :)

And it's not mine. Took a few days though. Anyone want to trade Macs in Grimsby? I'm on a subbed 10mb line btw Ambit 250:angelwing

had lots, not anymore

I scanned for about a week and got about 20 high macs (many moons ago) now I cannot get one no matter how long I scan, work that out.

I KNOW that more people are on 10 mb nowadays so something is going on to stop you from sniffing them.

i know this doesnt relate that much to this topic, but, what will we use once ntl finds a way to block dhcpforce??

Well its obvious

We will write something that does work.

Whatever they come up with, someone else can figure out how to get around it, its just a matter of time.

The CC has been slowly winding down the options for months now.

If you cannot see the data its because it isn't there to be seen. DHCP didn't change in that time did it? It was only ever the 100 and 120 modems you could get Macs from. so they had already worked it out on the 200 and 250. So if it can be figured out how come no one cracked it in the past 2 years for those 200 and 250 modems?

Ask around and you'll find that 1 and 2Meg 100 and 120 modems are on 0001 firmware, the 10Meg are on 0002.

So something in 0002 stops the date being transmitted and screws up the clones.

Which means that any 100 or 120 modem on 10Meg and 0001 firmware sticks out like a sore thumb to the CC so they switch it off after a few minutes.

Sounds familiar!

So theres work to be done

I would like to think that another method needs finding and scanning packets is not enough now then.

Well heres hoping some bright spark figures it out.

Anyway we will have to not be greedy and stick to 2 mb macs if we cant get 10 mb ones.

I posted a similar question regarding DHCP force a few months back. Ive since detected a bund03 config for a 250. Only one but it shows that it can detect them.
but like gopher says they are few and far between.
