first of all can an 800 hd (not se) be converted from satellite to cable? is there any images? also is it dependant on the sim?

yes you just need cable tuner just use any dm800 image for your sim some cable backups in downloads

You will need the cable version of autobouque as nothing I did with my dm800hd would show me any number of channels. or just use dreambox edit and send over someone else channel list. There are only about 10 free to air channels on cable. If you get a cable tuner don't forget to get the back plate to go with it as the sat one will not do.
