I have a Batronix BX48 programmer and the appropriate socket to read the flash from an old Cisco box I picked up. The programmer came with Prog-Express software.
When I run Prog-Express it recognises connected programmer then there's a drop down chip selector box. The ST M28W320 isnt listed so isn't selectable and if I click auto ID chip it just gives a message saying that the chip can not be auto ID'ed and it may not be an error as sine chips don't auto ID.
So what I need to know is what I need to do to get this programmer and software to dump the chip.
Is there another software package I need to use or do I need updated chip compatibility for Prog-Express? Prog-Express did update it self yesterday but still my chip isn't in the list.
Any ideas what to try much appreciated.
Thanks
