Configuration File OK cmreg-ntlhm250-mid.cm

Thats what u want i think ?

In the downloads you should find a program called 250 configurator.

download and run it, and tell it to connect via telnet.

Then in the config box enter in cmreg-ntlhm250-bund03.cm for the config file, and tftp ip (i think theres a tut floating about showing you how to get ahold of this)

and you should be on the highest package then!

strange aint it, i think vm are just conning ppl ... well the ones they can :( no where near the 20 meg it should be pulling...:( my best is in my thinking nearly 3 meg slower than urs...:s

looks like the 20mbit config has loaded as upload speed is about right for 768kbit upstream, as you have to include overheads etc.

I found my router wasn't powerful enough for 20mbit, limited it to 11mbit!

You may just be in a congested area at the moment, I've found mine fluctuates quite a bit, and speed tests sometimes aren't accurate, best bet is to get some downloads going from newsgroups or ftp's

Virgin get out of conning people cos it isn't guarenteed 20mbit, its upto 20mbit.

I got a netgear 54mbps WGR614 v7 router, should handle that shouldnt it ??

oh and ty for the help so far lads

rs2000 is a mate of mine i did the modem..

hes on a mac from where i am..

advised to use a 120 cfg to prevent firmware update...

no i got 17mb on a restart of my modem bout 5 mins ago.. hesstill on 8 mb..

and running a bund03 cfg..

i think this throttling system is going crazy..

hes running a 250 on the hacked flash (not the stealth one )

had issues with 250 configurator from the start not connecting unless on boot...

im having same issues now.. cant understand :S
