DHCP Force blank config filename

Hi,

If this has been posted before, am sorry, have tried using the search but no luck.

Anyway my m8 has just got himself a modem off fleabay & have just been scanning macs for him using DHCP & it comes up with 2, 4 & a few 10 meg config filenames but there is alot that comes up with everything else e.g mac addy,TFTP & such but there is nothing in the config filename & was wondering what these ones where? On tw.

they are just macs with out a config... Like a pace box modem showing up on the system/ But the modem in the box is not being used So the cc have gave it no config.. Its a unregistered mac ignore them

I Thought When There Was No Cofig That They Were Using Set Top Boxes With The Modems Built Into Them
